Who I am

My name is Alexander D’Agostino, and I am a New York metro based photographer whose work focuses on the relationship between place, memory, and atmosphere. I photograph urban landscapes, natural environments, and the quiet, often overlooked moments that shape how we experience the world. With a considered approach to composition and detail, my images are intended to evoke a sense of familiarity while encouraging a more attentive and reflective way of seeing.

My work has been exhibited in juried shows and galleries across the country, including the Rowayton Arts Center, Carriage Barn Arts Center, Stamford Art Association, Milford Arts Council, and Dusk Gallery in Santa Fe. I have also presented work at the Survivor’s Summit and have been featured in Woofer Magazine, an international publication. Across these platforms, my photography has been recognized for its ability to bring together a refined artistic perspective with a strong documentary sensibility.

I am committed to exploring new environments and to working collaboratively on projects that seek to capture the character of a place or the depth of a narrative. Whether through editorial work, creative partnerships, or commissioned projects, I approach each opportunity with a focus on clarity, intention, and visual cohesion.

I remain open to new collaborations and opportunities that align with this approach. My goal is to produce work that resonates with a lasting sense of place and offers a thoughtful, nuanced perspective on the environments we move through.
